SPECIALIST regional fund manager NEL has opened another office in the region.
NEL has moved into larger premises at the Dunedin House waterfront development in Stockton, Teesside.
The company provides investment capital for small and medium-sized businesses in the North-East and has made more than 340 investments in a number of companies since December 1993.
It has more than £50m under management and has invested nearly £3m in the North-East this year.
Barrie Hensby, chief executive, said: "We have had a presence in Teesside for more than a decade and have seen the whole area change dramatically during this time.
"The increased emphasis we are now placing on the region reflects the confidence we have in its future prospects and we hope we can help as many local businesses as possible realise their potential."
