DARLINGTON manager David Hodgson has continued his search for a new striker with the arrival of four more overseas trialists.

With Joaquim Ferraz, Sebastien Ferrero and Vitor Viera already on trial at the New Stadium, Hodgson yesterday added to his foreign legion by bringing in the quartet, who are from the USA, Argentina and Scandinavia.

A Select XI will take on Bishop Auckland at Spennymoor United's Brewery Field tonight. However, Hodgson must await international clearance before he can asses his latest imports, whose identities are being kept under wraps.

David Murphy, Curtis Fleming and Alan Harrison will all play tonight after missing the weekend, behind closed doors draw with their former club Middlesbrough.

Goalkeeper Sam Russell is also in line for his first start after recovering from an ankle injury, while former York City striker Aaron Wilford will get a another chance.

While Hodgson will name an experimental side this evening, Portuguese duo Ferraz and Viera should figure before the first team host Bradford City tomorrow. Former Raith striker Ferrero is also expected to be involved against City.

Hodgson is still tracking Matt Appleby, who will re-join his former club on trial once minor details are ironed out with Oldham.

The club has confirmed that only the main south stand and the east stand will be open to supporters tomorrow. Tickets are available at the turnstiles, priced £10 adults and £5 concessions.

The north stand will re-open for the visit of Leeds United next week, with three sides of the stadium open. The entire east stand has been allocated to visiting fans.

The game will also mark the official launch of the Ron Greener lounge.

The Presidential Suite has been renamed after the Quakers legend, who made 490 appearances for the club during the 50s and 60s.

Executive tickets for the evening, which include a complimentary drink, buffet, programme and seat in the executive suite, are available from the club at £25 each.

The club has also confirmed it will be holding a family fun day on September 13, which will include a chance to meet the players.
