THE combined efforts of two talented youngsters has led to the creation of a striking logo for a family support group.
Crook and District Parent Carers Support Group, which helps families that include children with disabilities or special needs, held a competition to find an appropriate logo for the organisation.
Two entries from pupils at Whitworth School, in Spennymoor, which teaches youngsters with special educational needs, were so good that the judges decided to give prizes to both and combine the designs.
Kristian Summerson, ten, and Daniel Woodgate, eight, were presented with gift vouchers and certificates their designs by founder member Val Fairhurst.
