A TRAMPOLINE club came away from a competition with an armful of medals.
Members of Sedgefield Springers had two weeks notice to prepare for the contest organised by York schools.
Eight youngsters, who train at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre and Sedgefield Community College, took part in the contest at Archbishop Holgate School.
Coach Kevin Young said: "The team had worked very hard, and were extremely excited about entering their very first competition."
In the girls' under-11 group, Beth Wayman won the gold medal, Rachael Donnachie claimed a silver and Natalie Walker a bronze. The three took gold in the team event.
Jamie Turner struck gold in the boys under-11 category, Gareth Lee won a gold in the under-13 boys' section, and Angela Temby took the girls' under-19 gold.
Silver medals went to Amy Kelsey (under-13 girls) and Scott Young (under-15 boys).
