CLUB stalwarts put their best foot forward in support of a charity walk by a disabled Army officer.
And the Easingwold Lions' Club raised £1,500 for the Leonard Cheshire home for disabled people in Alne.
Part of the cash was raised at a reception for ex-officer Chris Moon, who lost and arm and a leg in a landmine explosion while in Mozambique.
Despite his injuries, he recently completed a 1,284-mile trek in aid of the Cheshire homes across the country.
As he passed through North Yorkshire, club members joined him for the section between Easingwold and Alne.
