SUPERFIT fundraisers have completed the equivalent of a marathon without moving from the spot.
Users of Bedale Leisure Centre were challenged to test themselves to the limit using the treadmills in the fitness studio.
Pete Robinson, of Bedale, won the adult challenge while 13-year-old Kelsey Main, also of Bedale, took the honours in the younger category, completing a mini-marathon.
Both winners received a £50 voucher for Bedale Sports and Outdoors.
Every adult who completed the distance received a free visit to the sauna and sports drink bottle.
Younger members received two free swims and a drinks bottle.
