A FUN day to celebrate the release of the new Thunderbirds film is being held today.
The event, at the MetroCentre, Gateshead, will include an interactive floor game, based on the 1960s television show, alongside clips from the movie, starring Bill Paxton, Sir Ben Kingsley and Anthony Edwards.
The film, which is set in 2010, features the original characters of Jeff Tracey, Brains, Lady Penelope, Parker and the four Tracey sons: Scott, John, Virgil and Gordon as well as the Tracey family nemesis, The Hood, plus a few newcomers.
During the fun day, at Exhibition Square, children can take part in Thunderbirds games and competitions, and see extracts from the film ahead of its release on Friday.
They will also be able to win Thunderbirds prizes.
