Victorian Friends: The Friends of Victorian Eaglescliffe will meet on Tuesday, at 7pm, at Eaglescliffe Village Hall, Yarm Road. The friends need people to help with fundraising events and community projects. The group has been successful in The Care for Your Area awards 2004, sponsored by Stockton Borough Council and Tees Pride for their work.
Discovery lectures: The last in the series of lectures called Cosmic Change, Spiritual Challenge and the Creative Imagination takes place in Crathorne Church on September 7, at 7pm. Dr Barbara Morden will deliver a lecture called Fossils, Apes and Supermen: The Effects of and Responses to Evolution Theory in 19th and 20th Century Art and Culture. Morning coffee: Members of the Egglescliffe branch of the Mothers' Union are holding a coffee morning on Tuesday, at 10am, at 79 Mayfield Crescent.
family Service: The next service at All Saints Church, Worsall is a family communion service at 10am on August 1.
Over 50s: The Over 50s Club of Ingleby Barwick meets every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm in the community hall, Haresfield Way.
