A TEN-YEAR-OLD rider from Stainsby Grange Equestrian Centre, Thornaby, is enjoying a brilliant season.
Pippa Allen competed in the recent Champions of Scotland show jumping festival, winning all three of her sections, including the Scottish 128cm Championship, the grand prix and the national 128cm.
She has also qualified all four of her ponies, of which she can ride only two, for the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead this week.
She has already qualified two ponies for the Horse of the Year Show in October.
Pippa has just returned from Cavan in Ireland where she competed for England, claiming team silver and fourth in the grand prix.
