Ttoddlers are all smiles now a play area has been completed. The Jigsaw pre-school, in Valley Road, Northallerton has created a new outside play area.

Pre-school spokeswoman Joan Finn said: "They are absolutely delighted with it.

"They love the bikes, cars, tractors, sandpit, building area. slides, house and garden."

Jigsaw is a registered charity led by play leaders with the help of a dedicated committee of volunteers.

A recent Ofsted report judged it to be good in all key areas.

It said: "The provision is high quality. Children are making very good progress towards the early learning goals."
