BANNER- making, drama and sculpture are three of the art activities being run for young people next month.
Museums across Hambleton and Richmondshire will be holding sessions from August 2 to 14 as part of the Active8 scheme.
Lynda Powell, the district museums officer, said: "The scheme was so successful last year that there was no question about running it again.
"This year we have a food theme running through all of the activities. Rationing, gluttony and fantastic table decorations are all going to be explored."
The scheme is run by Hambleton and Richmondshire district councils and includes two evening sessions for adults.
A session, exploring Georgian cooking, will take place at Shandy Hall, in Coxwold, and another, looking at food history, will be held at the North Yorkshire County Council records office in Northallerton.
