AN exhibition on the success of the £10m clean up of east Durham's coastline will reach its final venue next month.
The Turning the Tide exhibition, depicting the coastal improvement scheme through watercolours, photographs and poems, returns to Peterlee Library and East Durham Community College.
Photographer Keith Pattison, poet Katrina Porteous and painter Robert Soden were commissioned by the District of Easington Council and partner organisations to carry out the project.
The exhibition, which will run from Saturday to August 28,will be the final venue for the tour of the North-East and Cumbria which began in April 2003.
Admission is free and the full exhibition is open Monday to Thursday between 8.30am to 4.30pm and 8.30am to 4pm on Fridays.
