ROUND table members have raised £3,500 for children's hospice Zoe's Place.
The members of Guisborough Round Table raised the money by climbing three peaks - Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain, Helvellyn and The Old Man of Coniston - in a day.
The team received help from Simon Bailes Peugeot in Guisborough, Northallerton and Stockton, which provided a free support van.
Alan Milburn, of the Round Table, said: "We raised the money by sponsors guessing the amount of steps taken to walk the three hills - a bit like guess the weight of the cake but with a little more sweat."
The team took 34,379 steps and four people all guessed the same nearest figure.
Round Table chairman Mike Toshach presented a cheque for £3,500 to Mark Guidery, from Zoe's Place, in Normanby, near Middlesbrough.
The hospice provides care for children, up to age five, with health problems.
