A GIANT blow-up tube played music to a captive audience in a park yesterday.
The Colourscape outdoor theatre company brought the 50ft inflatable to The Applegarth, in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, for the day.
Visitors were able to go inside the tunnel to listen to flute and trombone music.
A spokesman for Colourscape said: "Loudspeakers make the music spiral and bounce around inside to give the feeling of being actually inside a giant flute, with the sound flowing across and around you.
"Being transparent, the public passing by can see the reactions of the literally captive audience."
Hambleton councillor Neville Huxtable said: "This is a great way for all ages to experience a new kind of music performance with a science angle and also to spend some time in the town."
