YOUNG people from a theatre company are staging their first production tomorrow.
Mirrorball is the culmination of two weeks experimentation and rehearsal with a diverse group of Derwentside youngsters.
Members of Theatre Cap-a-Pie will tell their stories and express opinions through drama dance, music and film.
The idea was to get them to relate their experiences, concern, excitements, worries, loves and hates by turning off their televisions and getting physical.
Anne Bromley, of Cap-a-Pie, said: "Theatre is not only fun and exciting, it also helps us to make sense of our complicated lives and understand who we are and what we can become. It also promotes a sense of well-being, belonging and community, which is important to young people."
It takes place at the new Healthy Living Centre, The Store, which is Dipton's newly-renovated Co-operative shop.
It is being held tomorrow at £7.30pm and tickets cost £2.
