Entries are flooding in for this year's North-East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards but there is still time to put your nominations forward.
Women Into the Network (WIN), based at Durham Business School, are once again seeking nominations from female entrepreneurs, young and old, and in all areas of the business community, from a variety of backgrounds and sectors.
Starting up in business is a great achievement in itself but to make it work, create new jobs, and be actively involved in North-East enterprise is something to be proud of. The awards recognise the achievements of women in business, no matter how large or small.
Do you know someone whom you think should be put forward? Take some time out to complete the form and give the ultimate accolade to a woman whom you admire and feel should be recognised.
The closing date for nominations October 8. Categories include: Most Innovative Idea, Young Woman Entrepreneur, Best Rural Woman Entrepreneur and Best Newcomer.
The North-East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards will be held on November 19 2004 at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead and will be hosted by Julia Hankin of BBC Radio Newcastle.
