THE chairman of a Darlington community partnership congratulated its members at its annual meeting for the contribution they make to the estate.
Martin Landers told members of Red Hall Partnership: "This partnership contributes to a feel-good factor on this estate and that's why we have been so successful."
Brian Bell continues as vice-chairman, Sarah Peyton as secretary and Sue Davison as treasurer.
The meeting heard £4,938 has been secured by the partnership from the National Lottery's Awards for All fund for a fun day on August Bank Holiday Monday.
Members also heard 20 youngsters from the estate are to spend a week at Hamsterley Forest next week, taking part in outdoor activities.
The partnership has a vacancy for a resident member. Anyone interested in getting involved can go along to the next partnership meeting in September.
