Music fans can enjoy a night of new sounds at a Northern Echo gig tonight.
Music website Revolution is presenting an event where three North-East bands will launch CDs.
The Shining, The Fray and Eskimo will be performing at The Forum Music Centre, Borough Road, Darlington.
Darlington five-piece The Shining will be playing an assortment of soulful rock, with lots of long jams and improvisation.
The Fray, also from Darlington, are an enthusiastic emerging rock act who have been performing together live for only six months. In that time they have created a fantastic original rock style with elements of blues.
Richmond acoustic folk act Eskimo will be performing with their constantly evolving line-up of fiddles, violins and keys.
All three bands will have their new CDs on sale.
The event will run in conjunction with TFM radio and urban street-wear store Fourth Chamber.
Tickets are £3.50 at the door, with doors opening at 7.30pm. For details, log on to www.this isrevolution.co.uk
