CHILDREN and their families will be able to enjoy a seaside family fun day next week.
On the beach at Redcar, the Cleveland Divers are inviting youngsters to have a paddle at low tide, from 10am to 2pm, on Tuesday.
They will be shown how to collect, identify and examine an assortment of marine life that can be found on the rocks and in rock pools.
There will also be craft sessions to choose from at Kirkleatham Museum, from 10am to 3pm, including the chance to produce floral art or a decorated gift box.
Woodcarving for beginners will be on offer as well as the chance to learn how to trace your family history by computer.
Meanwhile in Saltburn, holiday activities will include a rockpool watch from 11.30am to 1pm, two circus skills workshops from 10am to noon and 1pm to 3pm, a craft session, and the chance to test map reading skills around the Valley Gardens.
Admission to all events, organised by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, is free.
