A LANDLADY'S hobby has brought a touch of Geordie life to her pub.
Linda Gibson, who runs the Queen's Head, in Gilesgate, Durham, has been collecting old-fashioned Geordie street signs for three years.
Now they have become a bit of a novelty feature in the pub.
She said: "Customers love it and it has become a talking point.
"Loads of people just come in to look at them because it is so different."
She gets them from car boot sales but people have started donating signs now they know about her collection.
Mrs Gibson said: "There was one customer who came in and said 'I haven't seen that sign in years'.
"It turned out to be from the street where his mother grew up."
