COMPUTER games developer Mere Mortals is growing rapidly on the back of large business wins.
The Newcastle company has been contracted to work on two PlayStation 2 titles with UK publisher Oxygen Interactive, a deal that prompted it to take on four employees, a 33 per cent increase in staff.
Three of the latest recruits have been employed by the company through the Graduates For Business programme.
Mere Mortals' managing director, David Jeffries, said: "The relationship we have created with Oxygen Interactive is an exciting one.
"The first two contracts are just the beginning of what we hope will be a long and fruitful relationship, with many more games titles being developed by Mere Mortals."
