PENSIONERS in Hurworth, near Darlington, received a welcome boost that allowed them to enjoy a day out.
The Hurworth and District Over 60s Club visited Holy Island and Seahouses after receiving a gift from the Rydal Care Home, in Darlington, which is part of the Four Seasons Health Care group.
The Hurworth club was established 30 years ago to help elderly and socially isolated people.
