AN amateur dramatics group is appealing to railway enthusiasts for help to find props for its latest production.
Shildon's Centre Stage is planning a stage production of E Nesbit's classic story The Railway Children to celebrate the opening of the town's multi-million pound railway museum.
The production has been cast and rehearsals are under way, but the group does not have any authentic Edwardian costumes or props.
The show will be staged from Friday to Sunday, September 24 to 26.
Anyone who would like to help the group by lending props or costumes is asked to contact Derrick Robinson on (01388) 774838.
