MORE than 140 children and 120 adults made mini animal brooches as part of a series of family learning activities at Kirkleatham Museum.
The event, on Wednesday, was one of many craft sessions being held by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's Adult Learning Service to help to keep children occupied over the school summer holidays.
The theme of the sessions ties in with the museum's Habitats exhibition.
Museum education officer Liz Vine said: "The day went really well. We were really busy, as we have been with all the events we've had so far.
"The children all enjoyed themselves and went home with some lovely badges."
