VISITORS to Britain's broadest high street took a walk on the wild side at the weekend.
An estimated 150 children took part in a community carnival parade at Stockton, donning a variety of animal masks, while others were made up to look like tribal savages.
The jungle theme parade was a high point of the Stockton International Riverside Festival, and formed a colour procession through the town's high street.
