A kitchens manufacturer has opened a northern operations office in Scotland, building on major expansion at the company which could see new jobs created.
Grange Interiors, based in North Shields, now employs more than 90 staff at its manufacturing site and Tynemouth showroom. The company has been established for 30 years and has recently seen success in the commercial contracts market.
Working with national housebuilders, property developers and private clients, the company is now driving forward an expansion programme in Scotland.
The new office, based near Glasgow, will be a customer service facility for clients - and could increase Grange Interiors' workforce, with the possibility of more jobs in the coming year.
David Steven, managing director, said: "Our expansion programme has been a gradual yet very strategic process which has enabled us to accommodate an ever increasing contracts portfolio.
"We are continuing to work closely with some of the country's leading property developers, local authorities and architects, and with our Scottish operation now open, I am confident of driving the company forward to greater success in future.
