MICHAEL Johnson of Middlesbrough was the winner of the Rose Bowl competition, which opened the July programme at Sedgefield's Knotty Hill Golf Centre.
He won with a net score of 65 and runners-up were Steven Scott (Norton) 69 and Robert Everett (Stockton) 69.
