Thornton-le-Dale showground was badly waterlogged following a series of downpours.
Visitors were treated to a wide range of livestock, sheepdog trials, terrier racing, junior show jumping, straw bale tossing and welly-wanging.
Stalls sold home-made chutneys and jams, local cheeses and meats and rural crafts.
