READY, Steady, Cook comes to one of the region's museums this month as part of a popular country festival.
Local chefs will compete against each other in the style of the BBC programme at the Teesdale Food and Craft Fair this month.
The front terrace of the museum will be home to more than 30 food stalls, selling a wide variety of local produce.
Also, within the 23 acres of parkland there will be a craft fair offering homemade gifts including jewellery, art and woodcraft.
Chris Davy from the award-winning Rose and Crown at Romaldkirk will be demonstrating recipes using local produce.
Alastair Ross, from the Oak Tree, at Hutton Magna, and Nico Human, from the Ancient Unicorn, at Bowes, will be competing in the Ready, Steady, Cook-style competition.
Other attractions include Victorian swing boats and live music.
Rachel Scott, marketing officer for the Bowes Museum, said: "The Teesdale Food and Craft Festival offers a great day out for all the family and is an ideal opportunity to sample a variety of local crafts and produce.
"The Bowes Museum is very grateful to Thomas Watson Auctioneers who have kindly sponsored the event."
Entrance to the festival is free. The museum will be open throughout and normal admission prices will apply.
