It's a case of bottom versus top when Peterlee meet Murton this afternoon.
And the records of the two sides could hardly be different. For as Murton are unbeaten with eight wins and eight draws, Peterlee have yet to taste success and are 21 points adrift of second from basement Houghton.
Murton though will take nothing for granted even though they are able to field an unchanged line up. Peterlee cannot call upon Mark Simpson, who is now involved with football, and Andrew Murray drops into the Second Team. Chris Ford and Michael Garraghan are both included in the line up.
Silksworth, 16 points behind Murton, face a difficult test at home to Hylton who have lost just twice.
Silksworth anticipate fielding a strong line up while Hylton are hopeful that Liam Foster will have recovered from injury. The two sides are again in opposition tomorrow in the final of the Frank Lees Trophy at Ryhope.
Dawdon have not given up hope of finishing at the top despite being 28 points behind Murton and 12 adrift of Silksworth.
They are enjoying their best season for years and much of their success is down to the form of Shoaib Akhtar, who rejoined the club for the start of the season after a period in the Foster's ECB North East Regional Premier League with Philadelphia.
He is in magnificent form with bat and ball and Bill Quay will need to claim his wicket and contain his pace bowling if they are to profit.
Jamie Greenwood for Stephen Cahill is Dawden's only alteration while Bill Quay are unchanged.
Easington are missing Stuart Wilson, Michael Massey and Mark Race at home to Ryhope. Peter Booth, Jason Moses and the experienced Brian Fenwick are drafted into the side.
Houghton, who along with Peterlee and Seaham Park have yet to win, are at home to Castle Eden with Jon Grant replacing Ian Johnson.
The visitors name Gerrard McGee and Stephen Horsley for Daniel Greener and James Walker.
Seaham Park, who have drawn ten of their 16 games, are at home to Boldon CA who are just one place above them near the foot of the table. Victory could lift Seaham Park to fourth from the basement which would be their highest rating for some time.
