Residents in Hartlepool are being invited to view details of the plans for a scheme that will see the development of a stretch of waterfront north of the Marina.
The plans, which were submitted to the council last month, include housing, leisure, business and retail facilities.
Tees Valley Regeneration and PD Ports Plc will host the "Victoria Harbour" information day, on Thursday, at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre, in Hartlepool.
Anyone interested in the scheme will be able to see the plans and meet representatives who will explain the rationale behind the scheme and answer questions.
The £500m scheme, using both public and private investment, will provide the town with a range of facilities including a new school, landscaped open space, a coastal walkway and an innovative pedestrian and cycle bridge.
The site is vast with 200 acres available for redevelopment - including new homes, workplaces, restaurants and leisure facilities.
Working to a time-frame of about 20 years, the site will include up to 3,500 homes of mixed design, including luxury waterfront properties, when completed.
Public consultation on the project has been ongoing since it was first announced and included an event held to inform residents of the plans last December.
