MONSTER trucks wowed a crowd of more than 30,000 at the region's biggest motor show at the weekend.
The North-East Motor Show, the largest motor exhibition and family fun day in the North, took place on Saturday and yesterday at Herrington Country Park, near Sunderland.
The Big Foot and The Hulk machines gave an awesome display of their power, crushing cars under their tyres and performing pulling feats.
Further daredevil antics came from the Over the Top Stunt Display Team, which performed in the recent Tooth Fairy film, and stunt driver Russ Swift. Drivers who wanted to try extreme motoring could drive a 4x4 vehicle on an off-road course.
Visitors could also get close to the Thunderbird FAB1 car used in the new Thunderbirds film, and youngsters were offered the chance to dress up as characters from the movie.
