Artists can have their work displayed and win a cash prize in a one-day competition.
The best work produced at the event, on Saturday, August 21, will go on display at the DLI Museum and Durham Art Gallery. The overall winner receives £175.
Those taking part need to pick up a stamped sheet of paper from the museum, after 10am and return it by 5pm the same day. Another challenge is to create a piece of work inspired by the sculptures in the grounds of the DLI Museum and County Hall, at Aykley Heads, Durham.
The work must be completed by September 12, with the overall winner to receive £250.
