A PACKAGING company hoping to take on staff in the next year has taken a 15-year lease at a Tyneside business park.
The Restoration Packaging Company is the latest tenant to move in to UK Land Estate's award-winning Waterfront development at Newburn Riverside, Newcastle.
The company moved in to the 6,700sq ft factory last month.
Director Alan Wood said: "We have been looking for new premises to increase the capacity of the business for a few months.
"The move will allow the company to expand, taking on new staff over the next six to 12 months."
Restoration Packaging began trading in 2001 and developed a process to reprint cartons, sleeves, plastics and bags. It repackages and recycles products for a number of household brands and supplies national supermarkets.
