THE successful restoration of part of part of the River Skerne in Darlington will feature at a storytelling festival.
The stretch of water at the eastern end of the town will host one of the events as part of the Tales from the Tees festival.
Summertime Stories on The Skerne will take place between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday, August 22.
Darlington is hosting two other events during the week-long festival.
There will be Teddy Bears Tales between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Wednesday, August 25, at Drinkfield Marsh local nature reserve, and Fish Scales and Tall Tales at Brinkburn Pond nature reserve, between 2pm and 4pm, on Saturday, August 28.
