THE mysteries of one of County Durham's castles will be revealed this weekend.
Architect Dennis Jones will give an insight into the history of Brancepeth Castle during a talk at the Clayport Library, in Durham City, on Saturday.
The event will also cover the current exhibition about the castle, which is being held at Durham Heritage Centre and Museum until August 24.
The exhibition features photographs of the interior and exterior of the castle.
Mr Jones will also talk about the heritage centre, based in the former church of St Mary-le-Bow, North Bailey, Durham City.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 2pm, are available from Clayport Library, and cost £2. For further details, contact 0191-386 4003.
