SEDGEFIELD rider Jane Forster was awarded the Meg trophy for becoming the national equitation points champion at the national side-saddle show at Addington Manor last weekend.
Jane has enjoyed a fantastic season and this success comes after she was awarded the national performance rider of the year in March.
Riding Cinderellas Mischief, she won the show hack and pre-veteran classes. With Bridgefield Lord Snooty, she was second in the novice working hunter horse, third in the intermediate equitation jumping and fourth in the intermediate equitation championship
Jane also became adult national equitation points champion for the second year running. This is awarded to the rider winning the most equitation classes at affiliated shows from one national show to the other.

Sarah Frank (Burnmoor Rhys): 1st novice working hunter pony; whp reserve champion; 3rd show jumping; 6th junior concourse D elegance; 4th pony club pony; 4th dressage to music; 3rd junior novice equitation championship.
Gail Brown (More Majestic): 1st small riding horse; riding horse champion; 2nd small hunter; 2nd dressage.
Julie Cameron (Jean Alesi): 3rd coloured horse/pony.
