A YOUNG entrepreneur has been making himself some holiday spending money at the same time as doing his bit for the environment.
Harry Bellerby, seven, from Hartlepool, has set up his own mini-recycling business, at Castle Howard Holiday Park, near Malton.
While on holiday with his family, he tours the site, collecting empty glass bottles from the holidaymakers and depositing them at the site's recycling bins, using his specially made trailer, which clips on the back of his bike.
He charges 5p for one bottle and 10p for two or more and, despite Tuesday's wet weather, he managed to make 85p.
His mother, Claire, said: "He is looking forward to when the site introduces paper and can bins as well, because there is just a glass bin at the moment.
"Most of the regular visitors know him and save their bottles specially.
"They think it is a good idea and it is nice to see him trundling down the site road with his bike and his trailer on."
