TEENAGERS from a Bishop Auckland youth club have been cooking up a treat.
Members of the Lasses' Club at the Four Clocks Centre took part in cookery sessions run by Bishop Auckland College catering tutor Paula King.
They produced biscuits and flapjacks in the centre's kitchen, which is rented by the college to provide food for the Four Clocks cafe.
Youth development worker Doug Hill said the group, for 11 to 24-year-olds, devised their own activities, including making a compact disc, learning disc jockeying and circus skills, and he organised them.
The girls group meets every Tuesday, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, an art club meets on Fridays, 4.15pm to 6.15pm. Mr Hill is trying to restart a lads' club.
People can visit the sessions from next month, or contact Mr Hill on (01388) 609852
