A SERIES of art sessions with a difference is taking place at Stockton Library in an effort to encourage youngsters of all ages and abilities to take up the hobby.
The three sessions, Clayworks for Children with Disabilities, Comic Character Drawing and Art for Teens, are being run by Stockton Borough Council's Library and Information Services in connection with Archetype and artist Julie LeFevre.
The sessions will be run on four separate dates: Wednesday - Clayworks for Children With Disabilities, 2pm to 3pm; Saturday - Comic Character Drawing, noon to 4pm; Tuesday, August 24 - Art for Teens, 2pm to 3.30pm; and Wednesday, August 25 - Comic Character Drawing, noon to 4pm.
All events will take place at Stockton Central Library and although they are aimed primarily at teenagers, youngsters of all ages are welcome.
All sessions are free and materials will be provided. Places are limited and booking is essential on (01642) 526522.
