WORK is about to start on an upgrade for one of the library and information centres run by North Yorkshire County Council.
The authority is working on a programme of improvements to its libraries across the county and Easingwold library is next on the list.
It will close at 1pm on August 21 and a limited service will be provided from the mobile library on Mondays, starting from September 6. It will operate from the Galtres Centre car park from 10am to 7pm until mid-October.
The revamped library will have new shelving, a counter, and furniture along with new books and a children's area.
