A PUB has a host of activities lined up for its annual charity month.
The Brown Trout, at Sunnybrow, near Willington, is about to launch its third charity fundraising campaign to raise money for the Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland and Macmillan Nurses.
The highlight of the month's activities will be the pub's charity funday on Sunday, September 26.
The main event of the day will be an ejection bungee, which landlord Stephen Longhorn hopes will help raise a four-figure sum.
He said: "We need at least 60 people to take part. Each one must raise a minimum of £80 to qualify for a free go, and there is a trophy for the person who raises the most money."
The pub is also appealing for items for a raffle and auction, and for local businesses to sponsor the events.
