Lyndsey Marie Gormally, 23, of South Terrace, Staindrop, denied using threatening behaviour, two counts of criminal damage of police vehicles, and assault of two police officers when she appeared before Bishop Auckland Magistrates.
David Anthony Gormally, 26, of the same address, denied a charge of criminal damage to a police van during the same incident in Staindrop. Both were released on unconditional bail yesterday, to reappear at Bishop Auckland court on September 22.
