Darlington Football Club has agreed a subsidised bus scheme to help fans get to and from Saturday games.
The club has been working with bus company Stagecoach and Darlington Borough Council to arrange the subsidised scheme, which starts with the home game against Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
Six Stagecoach buses will run a non-stop service between Tubwell Row in the town centre and the club's stadium in Neasham Road, starting at 1.15pm and leaving every 15 minutes until the last bus at 2.30pm.
Following the match, buses will leave from outside the stadium at 4.45pm, 5pm, 5.15pm and 5.30pm.
The service will be running on all Saturday matches until further notice.
Planning for a full match day park-and-ride scheme for fans is ongoing and could be up and running in the autumn. Details will be made available to fans when they are finalised. Andy Battison, chief executive of Darlington FC Ltd, said: "We have worked with Stagecoach and Darlington Borough Council to ensure that there is a system in place for Saturday matches, and later in the campaign we hope to have a full scheme in place for the Darlington fans.
"This bus scheme should help make travelling to and from the games a lot easier for fans and for those living near the ground."
