A GROUP of college students have spent time undertaking a series of challenges in Romania.
The team of 18 to 25-year-olds visited Oared to revamp a hospital corridor and bathrooms.
The students, from Teesside, County Durham and North Yorkshire, undertook the challenge as part of the 12-week European Team Challenge Programme run by the Prince's Trust and Stockton Riverside College, Stockton.
As part of the challenge the group had to raise funds to buy materials in Romania to carry out the renovations. They managed to raise £928 by taking part in sponsored abseils, raffles and a charity night.
The team included Mark Scarry and Jamie Proffit, from Middlesbrough.
