FAMILIES can enjoy a fun picnic at Margrove Park Community Centre, near Guisborough, as well as finding out about SureStart children's centres.
The free event, from 10am to 2pm on Thursday, is open to all families in rural east Cleveland and the Overfields area and features a magician, balloon-modelling, Indian head massage, badge-making and soft play.
Parents will also be able to find out information about Redcar and Cleveland Sure-Start Children's Centres.
Free transport to the event is available by contacting organisers Mary Hurley, on (07795) 305896, or Linda Bulmer, on (07795) 305897.
Families are asked to take their own picnic and drinks.
