THERE will be a vintage car rally in Darlington over the bank holiday to raise money for charity.
St Teresa's Hospice, in Darlington, and NCH charities, will benefit from the display of cars in Grange Road.
On Saturday, a number of retailers in the road will be joining forces and offering a range of activities for the whole family, including children's games and a raffle to win a gift basket of goods worth more than £500.
The star attraction will be the chance to see some vintage cars courtesy of local enthusiasts.
Grange Road will be closed for the day to allow owners to park their vehicles along the side of the road and give visitors the opportunity to view the display in safety.
Business owners in the road nominated St Teresa's and NCH to benefit. They will take on the vintage theme in their window displays.
St Teresa's Hospice director, Jane Bradshaw said: "This promises to be a great way for families to spend part of the bank holiday weekend."
