JUNINHO'S proposed move to Celtic is still on the cards despite a delay in the transfer, writes Paul Fraser.
The Middlesbrough midfielder's advisor, Jonathan Hassall, confirmed the player held more talks with the Riverside's board yesterday in an attempt to seal the deal.
Juninho has agreed terms with Celtic and passed a medical.
But he is trying to agree a severance package at Boro as he has two years left on his contract.
"The move has not collapsed - it's still just a case of tying up a few loose ends at this end. After that we go up to Celtic to start training," said Hassall.
"I would have thought he will be there up in the next couple of days to start a new chapter in his life.
"The player is keen to get it all sorted as soon as possible. There is no need to panic.''
