FIVE generations celebrated the 100th birthday of great, great-grandmother Rosemary Ludbrook.
Mrs Ludbrook's daughter, also called Rosemary, granddaughter Pat Gatenby, great-grandson Tony Gatenby and great, great-grandsons, two-year-old Cameron Gatenby and his baby brother Joseph, attended a party at Wheatacres Elderly Persons' Home. in Redcar, yesterday.
Perhaps Mrs Ludbrook's best birthday present was a surprise visit from her son, Derek, who flew from his home in Melbourne, Australia.
Mrs Ludbrook's daughter, Rosemary Farrow, 79, said: "She's an avid reader, using the local library. She doesn't drink and she doesn't smoke."
