Seven bikers have paid a visit to the region as part of a 357-mile charity cycling challenge.
The team, from Chrysalis Radio, cycled from London to Newcastle in five days to raise funds for a number of charities, including thousands for local children's charity The Rainbow Trust.
The final leg of the journey saw the team pedal from Ripon, in North Yorkshire, through Bedale, Catterick Garrison, Richmond, Dur-ham, Stanley and Gateshead, before arriving in Newcastle last Friday.
Other charities supported by Chrysalis Radio's tenth anniversary cycling challenge include Childline, the Tushar Appeal, Latch and the Kirsty Howard Appeal.
Nearly £50,000 has been raised, which will be split equally between the five charities.
Company chief executive Phil Riley led the charity ride, which stopped off at all the cities in which Chrysalis Radio is broadcast, including Manchester and Leeds.
